Kamal hasan controversy on delhi rape

Entire Nation is dropping heads down for the kind of respect we are offering to women in present day society.It is high time that government has to pass some strict laws and enforce them in order to make India a safe place to live.After the gang rape of a paramedical student in a city bus of New Delhi at 9 PM four days ago the situation is not the same. Protests have become intense alover the country forcing the PM and President to punish criminals.Meanwhile kamal hasan has reacted differently to the context expressing his views against the awarding of death penalty to rapists.He said, 'the girl raped is my sister and the criminal is brother. I am ashamed of these happenings and I support teeth to teeth punishment for the guilty.However killing the criminal with a prompt judgment of death penalty is not the right solution.Dealing a crime with one more crime death penalty is not right.Well there might be only few who agree with Kamal views.

DR controversy goes International

After enough of noise made by Brahmin Associations and Manchu family on the film of 'denikaina ready' which created huge controversy hurting the sentiments of Brahmins, now we hear of The Global Hindu Heritage Foundation condemning the scenes and dialogues.

This Intrenational Organization has released a press statement in Texas where the film has been termed as demeaning Brahmin community including with making mockery of Hindu customs and rituals promoting vulgarity. Attacking the value of traditional fabric of Hinduism and showing disrespect towards a particular community is highlighted as the mistakes in 'DR.' Finally, the organization has demanded State Government and Censor Board either deletion of few scenes or banning the film completely.

However, the committee constituted by Government will give their report by next two days and let us see what happens.

DKR Controversy Dragged To HRC

The controversy over alleged humiliation meted out to Brahmin community in Manchu Vishnu’s latest film Denikaina Ready, has reached the doorsteps of State Human Rights Commission.

On Thursday, members of AP Brahmin Samakhya approached the human rights commission alleging that Vishnu’s goondas had attacked them, injuring a few of them severely, when they were registering protest over certain scenes in the film which had hurt the sentiments of their community. They clarified that they had not attacked the residence of Vishnu, but the personal security of the actor themselves had created such a scene.

Interestingly, almost at the same time, representatives of Vishnu also approached the human rights commission with a counter petition alleging that some vested interests in the name of the community had attacked the actor’s house for cheap publicity. A tense situation prevailed at the commission office when Brahmin Samakhya representatives raised slogans against Mohan Babu and Vishnu. The commission referred the complaints to the city police and asked them to submit a report before November 28.
