Shruti Haasan was thrilled a few days ago when her mother came on the sets of Kumar Taurani and Prabhu Deva's film to surprise her daughter. Apparently, Shruti has been travelling in and out of Mumbai to fulfill commitments of movies and her music and has had hardly any time for herself and her family back in Mumbai. After the last time she was hospitalized her mother has been worried about Shruti and makes sure, she takes good care of herself. So, during the shoot of Kumar Taurani's movie Shruti's mother specially visited to the sets. Everyone had a great time on the set. Our sources say, "Shruti was thrilled to see her mother on the sets, and had lunch with her and the entire cast together. She looked happy." She even stayed on set for a few hours and finally left. "My folks never visit my set but my mum came to see me work on this film which made me very happy. And it was nice because we both work now and we had a lot to talk about not just as mother and daughter but as two actors. We bonded in a completely different way.''
