For any big budget project, it is important that the director and the hero have a strong connect and wavelength matching. And it looks like director Puri Jagannadh and star Junior NTR have not been able to set the tune rightly so far. The reason we say this is Puri has been doing films with top stars nonstop but there are no signs of him working with Junior.
For that matter, Puri Jagan was able to convince even Mahesh Babu for a third film because wavelength matches. The same goes for him with Pawan Kalyan also but somehow catching the wavelength of Junior NTR has been somewhat difficult. It is heard that Puri is making rounds after the young tiger to lock something.
Currently, Puri has got ‘Iddaramayilatho’ with Allu Arjun and sources say the next project after that will most likely be with Mahesh. On the other end, Junior NTR has got ‘Baadshah’ on the floors. Both Puri and Junior worked for the film ‘Andhrawala’ few years back so maybe it is time for both to connect their wavelengths.
