There was a wide spread gossip in film nagar circles that Lakshmi Manchu was doing an item song in Mani Rathnam’s Kadal. No One knows how this gossip started but Lakshmi slammed it stating that she is not doing any item number in any film.Right now, Lakshmi is awaiting the release of her new film Gundello Godari where she played the role of a village girl. The film is also hitting Tamil screen with the title Mannithan Mannithen. Well, Kadal is the film with Goutam Karthik and Thulasi Nair in lead roles. Thulasi is the second daughter of actress Radha. It’s coming up in Telugu as Kadali. AR Rehman’s music is the big ear turner for the film. His song Nejukkulei in Tamil from this film rocked the youtube circuit a few days back. Telugu audio is awaited in big way.
