Priyanka Chopra not disturbed by Katrina Kaif’s fury

‘Gunday’ a YRF film, headlining Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor, was initially offered to Katrina Kaif. However, the actress refused the film for unknown reasons. Now, Priyanka Chopra is the movies heroine.

The latest we hear is that Katrina Kaif is miffed with PeeCee, for having replaced her.

A hurtful statement was made by a source stating that, having already worked with Katrina in ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’, the director of ‘Gunday’, Ali Abbas Zafar wanted a much more talented actress for his film, this time.

However, a source close to Kats told a leading tabloid, “News of PC bagging the film right under her nose is not true. Katrina loved the script of Gunday, but she had given her dates for the Hindi remake of the Hollywood film Knight And Day with Hrithik Roshan already. And that’s why she couldn’t do the film. She wanted to be part of the film. Kat has worked with Ali in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and the two get along very well. She is also a close friend of Arjun (Kapoor), who’s in the film. Even though she let go of the film, she hangs out with Ali Abbas and the gang.”

So what does Priyanka have to say about all this brewing controversy?

Breaking a dignified silence, PeeCee says, “I don’t know who was offered the film before me or who will be offered after me if I don’t do the film. All I know is that Ali Abbas Zafar narrated the script to me and Aditya Chopra spoke to me about it. That’s when I decided to do the film.”

“There have been films that I did after someone else left it and there have been other heroines who have done films that I have left, it happens all the time in the industry. What matters is whose name appears in the end credits. The film belongs to that person.”

Priyanka Chopra is definitely riding high on success and ya! she does deserve all the appreciation.

Sexy Heroine's Bonding With Servant

Being a heroine in the top order would mean a very hectic lifestyle and usually it is very difficult to spend time at home for days together. So, it becomes very important for a heroine to have someone at her back looking after things and her welfare. And here is one interesting byte about a sexy starlet.

She is Bipasha Basu and it is heard that this Bollywood actress has a special bonding with her servant maid. Buzz is that the maid is very protective about Bips and the hot heroine calls her maid as guardian angel. Sharing her thoughts, Bipasha reportedly revealed how her maid asks several questions like where she is going, when she will return etc.

She also added that whenever she is in a dilemma standing in front of her wardrobe her maid comes and gives suggestions on what to wear. In a way, Bipasha has no qualms in admitting that her life would come to a standstill without her maid. That’s one unusual bonding we are seeing folks!

Chota Mestri Heroine Hunt

Director Sampath Nandi who scored a big hit in the form of ‘Racha’ with Ram Charan is teaming up with the mega powerstar once again for a new film. This has been titled as ‘Chota Mestri’ and it is heard that the makers are stuck with the crucial part of the project, the leading lady.

One thought is to go with branded heroines like Samantha, Tamannah etc, the other talk is to go for Bollywood heroines. The name of Sarah Ali Khan, daughter of Saif Ali Khan is being discussed. On the other hand, the likes of Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma are also being talked about.

The other speculation is about Kriti Sanon. Currently, Kriti is working with the Mahesh Babu film being directed by Sukumar. Since Sukumar is known for handpicking the right kind of heroines, it is heard that the mega camp has got their eyes on this girl to see if she delivers. If that happens then maybe she can become the hot contender.

Alia Bhatt doesn’t mind locking lips on-screen

Alia Bhatt, who’s popularity is growing rapidly after making her debut with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year, says she doesn’t mind doing intimate scenes on-screen.

Alia is the daughter of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, and though she doesn’t mind exposing, she also says only if the script requires.

The 19 year old said: “I don’t consider kissing a taboo. I won’t do it (expose) for the heck of it. If the script demands and it is justified.. will do it. Like in ‘Student of The Year’ I have worn a bikini. I was very comfortable doing that because it was required and it isn’t that I haven’t worn bikini in real life.”

Alia also follows all the films that are produced by the Bhatts, she says she like some but some are just crap. She said: “I love their (Vishesh Films’) films. But that doesn’t mean I love all their films. There are films that I don’t like and I tell them about it too but there are films that I love as well.”

But, Alia made a smart and safe decision by making her debut with Karan Johar’s SOTY. She said: “You can call it safe. Bhatt camp makes films that are different. At the end of the day, it is all about how convincing you are onscreen. Like Emraan Hashmi started with Vishesh Films and today he is a superstar.”
