Mega Power Star Ram Charan had mesmerized every one present at the Saradhi Studios yesterday. A song shoot of Nayak is going on at a special set erected there.  The song reportedly contains some exciting steps and Charan mesmerized every one by performing them with tremendous ease. The song shoot there will go on for few more days.
Nayak is all set for release on January 9th in the Sankranthi season. Kajal Agarwal and Amala Paul are acting as the female leads. VV Vinayak is directing the movie while DVV Danayya is producing the movie under Universal movies banner. Latest Music Sensation Thaman is composing the music.

Wish Asin & Raveena Tandon a very happy birthday

   

Raveena, who was born in the year 1974, turned 38, while Asin turned 27.

Asin, who made her Bollywood debut with GHAJINI in 2008, will spend her birthday by working on the sets of her next movie.

'It has been a crazy and chaotic month for me so far so I have not even thought about my birthday as such. My film is releasing in December and we have to finish work as all of us are racing against time,' Asin told a leading publication.

'Earlier I have been lucky enough to get my day off on my shoots and I have also shot during the day on my birthdays but never in the nights. My immediate family, my mom and dad are here with me. I guess after pack up when I land up at home early morning, we will have our small little celebrations before I crash,' she said.

Asin featured in several Bollywood films like READY, LONDON DREAMS, HOUSEFULL 2 and BOL BACHCHAN.

Her upcoming project includes KHILADI 786, where she will be cast along with her 'Housefull 2' co-star, Akshay Kumar.

In Kollywood, she has showcased her talents in movies like 'AMMA NANNA O TAMILA AMMAYI, SHIVAMANI 9848022338, GHARSHANA, M. KUMARAN SON OF MAHALAKSHMI, GHAJINI, SIVAKASI, VARALARU, POKKIRI, and DASAVATHAARAM.

Raveena, on the other hand was seen busy thanking her friends on micro-blogging site Twitter for wishing her on the day.

She made her debut with the film PATTHAR KE PHOOL in 1991 which was box office hit and she received the Filmfare Lux New Face Award for her performance in the film.

Raveena then starred in films like 'MOHRA', DILWALE, LAADLA, IMTIHAAN, ANDAZ APNA APNA, KHILADIYON KA KHILADI, ZIDDI, BADE MIYAN CHOTE MIYAN.

Her performance in films like SHOOL, AKS, SATTA, DOBARA AND DAMAN: A Victim of Marital Violence won her critical recognition and was praised by critics and fans for her power packed performances.

She also won the National Film Award for Best Actress in 2001 for her performance in Kalpana Lajmi's DAMAN: A Victim of Marital Violence.

Raveena married film distributor Anil Thadani in 2004 and the couple are now proud parents of a girl named Rasha and a boy named Ranbir.

Much before her marriage and motherhood Raveena had adopted two girls, Pooja and Chhaya, as a single mother in 1995.

Amitabh-Rekha Revisited!

MUMBAI, Oct. 30 -- Be it with her sexy 'desi girl' moves in Dostana (2008) or more recently in Agneepath, Priyanka Chopra has proved that she can dance. But while she has danced in her own films, she's never really done an item number. Until now.

Priyanka is now confirmed for an item song for Sanjay Gupta's Shootout At Wadala (SAW), starring John Abraham. Priyanka and John will revisit a classic Amitabh Bachchan-Rekha song: the yesteryear hit 'Salaam-eishq' from Muqaddar Ka Sikandar (1978).

The song will see Priyanka reprising Rekha's bit from the original song, while John emulates Amitabh. "Don't be surprised if the item number reminds you of Bachchan and Rekha's yesteryear hit," says an insider from the unit. In the song, John will also reprise the 'Jumma chumma de de' song from Hum (1991). The insider adds, "The 'Jumma chumma' portion will have a different setting - a kotha and not a dockyard."

The song will be shot in January. "Sanjay and Ekta (Kapoor, producer) are keeping things under wraps. They haven't decided on the choreographer yet," says the insider. "The number will merge mujra with tapori dance, like Bachchan's moves in Hum. We will also see traces of 'Apni toh jaise taise' from Laawaris (1981)."

Bipasha Basu was earlier supposed to do the item number, but Priyanka is now confirmed to replace her (John was apparently not comfortable dancing with his ex-girlfriend). PC and John, however, share a good relationship, having worked together in Karam (2005), Dostana and 7 Khoon Maaf (2011).

"Before agreeing to do the song, Priyanka watched the film and was impressed by it," adds the insider. Although PC says that "till now" she's not doing any (item) song, sources insist she has agreed in principle but will hear the final version of the song next week. Mohan Babu releases Gundello Godari Tamil audio

   Actor-turned-producer Mohan Babu is one of the busiest senior celebrities in the Telugu film industry. But he is not acting in any of his movies rather busy curbing future of his children and promoting their films. On one hand he is busy promoting his own production Dhenikaina Ready starring his son Manchu Vishnu. On the other hand, he is also working on the publicity of his daughter Lakhsmi Manchu's latest production Gundello Godari, which is also dubbed in Tamil as Maranthen Mannithen.

The music launch of Tamil version of Gundello Godari was held in Chennai on Monday, October 29. Mohan Babu, who had launched Gundello Godari music on October 17, once again made sure to be present on the occasion. Along with music maestro Ilayaraja, the veteran actor released audio CDs of Maranthen Mannithen. The music launch event was attended several big celebrities like Dhanush, Suhasini Maniratnam and Anirudh Ravichadran.

Dhenikaina Ready makers in legal trouble for insulting Brahmins

Hyderabad: A case was filed tonight against Telugu actor-turned-producer Mohan Babu and three others for allegedly insulting the Brahmin community in his latest movie Dhenikaina Ready. However, Mohan Babu asserted there was nothing in the film that insulted Brahmins or any other community.

Following a court directive, Malkajgiri police filed the case against Mohan Babu, his actor son Manchu Vishnu and comedy actor Brahmanandam, who star in the film Dhenikaina Ready, besides its director G Nageswar Reddy, on charges of criminal conspiracy and promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion and other relevant sections of the IPC, a senior police officer said.

The members of a Brahmin association had filed a petition before a local court against Dhenikaina Ready maker Mohan Babu and others accusing them of allegedly insulting Brahmin culture and hurting their sentiments. After hearing their petition the court had directed the police to investigate and register a case.

Yesterday, different Brahmin associations held a demonstration in front of the actor's house in Film Nagar over alleged derogatory portrayal of their community and demanded a ban on his son's film Dhenikaina Ready. The protesters alleged that priests belonging to the Brahmin community were shown in poor light in the film and demanded a ban on the movie as well as an apology from Mohan Babu.

Amitabh Bachchan, the grand old man of Indian cinema is entering 70s today. And out of these 53 have been spent in front of the camera. After all these hyper-active years, the actor still acting and is still grounded.

Speaking in an interview about his entry in to films, the actor said, "I always wondered how one got into films. When I saw the Filmfare-Madhuri print ad in a magazine, I felt this was the proper way to get into the film industry. It would get me a chance to audition for a screen test; put me on a salary. Of course, I got rejected. And then, I just made up my mind that I had to be in the movies. So I landed up in Mumbai with my driving licence. I hoped that if I didn't get into films, then I would drive a taxi."
